** Still busy on many routes coming into the city, though delays are beginning to ease.** *MAIN TRAFFIC* * Delays from Westland Row towards Merrion Square due to the closure of Merrion Square West until 10pm on Fri 19th. * Slow from Whitehall Flyover on the N1/Swords Rd through to Drumcondra. * On the N11, traffic is easing at this stage. However, it's still busy on the Rock Rd from before Merrion Gates to St. Vincents Hospital on the Merrion Rd. * On the N3/Navan Rd it's slow outbound from the M50 to the new Blanchardstown Jct. A temporary traffic management plan is in place at the Auburn Ave jct until later today * Traffic lights will remain out of action on Butterfield Ave at Rathfarnham SC until early afternoon. Approach with care. * Busy inbound on the N7 Naas Rd from J2 Kingswood to Newland's Cross.

* Slow from St John's Rd West at the SCR Jct approaching the North Quays. Busy intermittently on the North Quays from Wolfe Tone Quay to Bachelors Walk. * Easing from Harold's Cross through to Leonard's Corner, but still slow from Clanbrassil St to Christchurch. * Botanic Rd is easing approaching Doyles Corner. * M50 traffic is moving well in both directions at this time. *EVENTS* See ‘EVENTS’ for further details. * Merrion Square West is closed until 10pm on Friday (19th) for the St. Patrick's Festival. There are some diversions to the following Dublin Bus services as a result; 13/13a, 44/44b, 45, 48a and the City Tour. See our 'Bus' section.

*ROADWORKS* * Works will take place on Seapoint Ave from 10am to 4pm daily until Fri 19th March. Delays should be expected. * Lane restrictions will be in place on Blackthorn Ave/Burton Hall Rd from 8am to 4pm daily until Fri 19th March. This is to facilitate road resurfacing works. * Lane restrictions will also be in place on Old Wyattville Rd from 10am to 4pm daily until Fri 19th March. This is to facilitate tree planting and landscaping works.

* Stepaside Lane is closed from Enniskerry Rd to Burrow Rd until the end of March (31st) for works. Diversions are in place. * Works and a stop/go system are in place from Dunleary Hill to the Old Dunleary Rd until Sun 4th April. * A temporary one-way traffic system is in operation on Mounttown Rd Lower until 13th June (approx). Northbound traffic is diverted via Kill Ave, Abbey Rd, Monkstown Ave and Mounttown Rd. Southbound traffic is unaffected.
